As a Project Manager at SB Group, you will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful completion of our larger projects. You will oversee all aspects of the projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and team management. As a leader and role model at SB Group, you will also play a vital role in the junior team members' learning and development. Further, you will be involved in process and standard improvement efforts as we continue growing SB Group to the next level.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years' experience in a project manager or similar role in the construction industry.

  • Project management certifications (e.g. PMP) are a plus.

  • Advanced knowledge of construction industry practices, preconstruction processes, and project management methodologies.

  • Strong project management capabilities and a proven track record of successfully running large-scale construction projects from inception to completion and bringing them in on time and under budget.

  • Ability to manage multiple large-sized projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, time management, and teamwork skills.

  • Expert at Divisions 8 and 10 scope of work and products.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology such as Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, and BuildingConnected.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate, coordinate, and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.

  • Responsible for all aspects of the project from the preconstruction phase to completion.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Set projects up for success when building schedule of values, accurately project costs, and maintain positive cashflows.

  • Identify and allocate project resources efficiently, including personnel.

  • Monitor and control project progress and risk.

  • Resolve project-related issues and conflicts promptly and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Ensure project quality and compliance with industry standards.

  • Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance among subcontracted personnel.

  • Prepare regular project status reports and efficiently give project updates during weekly deep dive meetings.

  • Take the driver seat with clients, vendors, and subcontractors and have a proactive approach.

  • Manage the domestic and international supply chains, inventory, warehousing, site logistics, and field installation.

  • Negotiate large contracts and buyouts.

  • Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously and bring them in on time, within budget, and ensure they meet the high-quality standards of SB Group.

  • Continuously review project management processes and standards and initiate improvements.

  • As a leader, you will mentor, coach, and actively share your knowledge in construction industry practices, preconstruction processes, and project management methodologies with Interns and Project Engineers. Further, you will educate them on Divisions 8 and 10 scope of work and products, as well as on relevant software and technology. You will also act as a role model and embody SB Group's vision and values.
